Motocross found its place in Nový Jičín

On 6th April 2002 small and big scramblers went out for the first time on the route in Nový Jičín. On that day by official opening of motocross and bicycle motocross site a vice-mayor of the town Mgr. Ivan Týle cut festively the tape and so opened officially to all the fans of motocross and bicycle motocross a possibility of using also in our district town. Together with the short route a sport club BEMGE MOTOCROSS NOVÝ JIČÍN was founded, that has 35 active members at the age from 5 to 60 years. No small group of fans is built up with boys and fathers, who regularly use our route by terrain cycling. A lot of boys comes to try what the our sport is about and they leave with belief, that they will get themselves a motorbike and they will ride around the route together with the others regularly. Pleasant is also a fact, that the interest of the activity in the club even thosefans express, who come from the audience and that some of them already now actively take part in organizing of various actions and races on our route.

After obtaining of the first experiences we decided at the beginning of summer for essential treatment of the whole circle so, that the route became much more rugged, also more difficult, but for our small and big racers also safe. Top of our premiere saison was organization of open race in motocross, that took place on 7th September 2002. The interest of this competitions went beyond all our expectations, and thus on the one hand out of the point of view of audience, on the other hand out of the point of view of racers themselves, in various categories more than 60. They came also from another districts and the youngest racer was 4,5 years old. By final evaluation of the whole action we could claim that thanks to big efforts of the organizers who are enthusiastic about motocross sport, we managed to cope with this action to the satisfaction of all the present and through this to get our town, new sporting estate and also our club BEMGE MOTOCROSS NOVÝ JIČÍN bring to the notice of wide range of fans of motosport. All, who we meet for the whole saison on the route, and there are more and more people, we are aware of what our route means for us. We are proud of it and we all know that it many times costs us a big work effort during their treatments, it comes back thousand times when we can sit on the motorbike or bicycle and at full stretch and with zest for riding ride the route. Although we ride the first saison, we can already now, thanks to the fact that our youngest racers are lead with the experiences of the older motocross racers, boast of the first successes. Many a nice position in the regional but also republic racings was fought for the club colours of BEMGE especially by Adam Geryk (6 let), Marek Krutil (6 let), Jiří Beseda (9 let), Václav Klich (11 let), Marek Talpa (12 let), Daniel Galia (27 let) a Jan Fiala (35 let).

It may seem, that with coming winter also we interrupt our activity but know that we don?Lt intend to do so. We want to train even under winter conditions and moreover we are going to organize a preview of new sports, as for example motoskijöring under our conditions is. As a conclusion there is only invitation, come to visit us and you will see yourself, that the club BEMGE and its site is full of enthusiasm and lives with sport mind.
