DENAKOR HG 56/M - antirusting acrylate paint for industrial applications -

DENAKOR HG 56/M is single-component, antirusting, water-based primer, formulated on the basis of acrylate dispersion. It contains combination of antirusting pigments containing zinc-phosphate, color pigments, fine aggregates, biocide agents, coalescents, rheology modifiers other additives modulating its properties. As a thinner, it contains water and small volume of glycolether-based solvents, it does not contain any aromatic solvents or varnish-petrol.

Use: Antirusting protection of semi-finished products in foundries, forges and other operations of metal-working industry, primer coating of steel, aluminum or galvanized structures. It is also used as antirusting primer before DENATOP acrylate enamel or DENAPOX E two-component enamel application. The paint can also be used as a primer for most of the single-component and two-component water-based and solvent enamels based on alkyds, epoxides and polyurethanes.

The paint has excellent antirusting properties, great chemical resistance, very fast drying.
Great consistency with metal surfaces.

Surface preparation: The surface needs to be dry, free of any mechanical or greasy impurities and old coating and rust residues, not cohesive to the surface. We recommend applying the paint on blasted, perfectly degreased or phosphated surface.

Paint application: The paint is supplied with consistency for application by dipping, air-spraying, high-pressure spraying or for mechanical application with a brush or roller according to the customer’s requirements. The paint is ready for direct use, not to be thinned prior to the application. The temperature of air and surface for the application should not fall below + 15 °C.

Theoretical spreading rate: 5 - 7 m2 per kg with dry layer thickness of 50 m.

Tinge: reddish brown, bright gray, black or per agreement.

Packaging and storing: Metal or plastic packages with weight of 0,8- 200 kg. The paint is to be stored in original packages at the temperature ranging from +5 to +25 °C, minimum storage life of 12 months after the production date. The paint must not freeze.

Safety and hygiene: DENAKOR HG 56 does not require a hazard warning label in accordance with EC Directives. However, it can cause mucosa irritation to sensitive people and in case of more often contact with the skin, it could invoke adverse effects. Use personal protective equipment and follow the personal hygiene principles when working with the paint. When spraying the paint, use respiratory protection, ensure proper ventilation in closed working areas. In case of contact with eyes, rinse eyes properly with large volume of clean water and seek a medical treatment.
